↗ On 20 August 2026, I publicly defended my PhD thesis in actuarial science at UCLouvain. My thesis explored statistical and machine learning methods for non-life insurance, with a particular focus on Bayesian modelling, predictive uncertainty, fairness, and interpretability.

After four years of research, countless models, papers, conferences, discussions, and probably an unreasonable number of lines of code (and coffee breaks), it was a very special day shared with my thesis committee, colleagues, friends, and family!
